Jane Campion's film *The Piano* is structured around a woman's struggle against the patriarchal order and her attempt to position herself as a subject within this traditional order. The film's central theme is built upon a woman's struggle to find her identity and to define herself through the concepts of sexuality and desire. *The Piano*, which we will examine in this article, positions the relationship between two men and a woman as the central subject of a conflict frequently encountered in both world and Turkish cinema. Jan Campion synthesizes this much-discussed clich\u00e9 with the concept of silence, aiming to tell the story of a woman's struggle for existence through a human narrative. The piano image, the central symbol in the film, emerges as a reflection of private property and the objectified, non-subjective female identity. In this analysis, the character of Ada, who struggles for existence within the patriarchal order, will be examined within the framework of feminist theory and psychoanalytic approaches.<\/p>\n

Abstract<\/p>\n

Jane Campion's framed film The Piano is aptly planned as a subject within a plot for its counterarchitectural order. The main drawing of the film, the design drawing, is designed to create the imaginary. The Piano movie, which we will be in our article, can be experienced both in the world and in two women in the world. Jan Chapman aims to tell the human story by synthesizing this widely spoken clich\u00e9 with conceptualization. Renting a car as the main imagination in the movie is designed in such a way that the specific goal can be conceived by objective users. Within the scope of our review, the character Ada, who struggles for existence in the patriarchal order in general, will be evaluated within the scope of feminist theory and psychoanalyst system.<\/p>\n
