Upon the invitation of the Communication and Design Program of the Faculty of Art and Design at Beykoz University, I gave a seminar titled "Color Theories in Corporate Identity Design" in the Undergraduate Campus Conference Hall on April 4, 2022.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the seminar, we addressed color, one of the defining components of corporate identity, from both theoretical and practical perspectives: the cultural and psychological connotations of colors, the significance of color in expressing a brand's mission and vision, and the fundamental principles brands should consider when choosing colors formed the main focus of the session. Drawing on my experience as a motion graphic designer at Kanal D for nearly ten years, I shared with the students how color decisions are made during the design process and how they are reflected on screen.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The session, initiated by design students' questions about color, transformed from a one-way presentation into a lively discussion; deciphering the color codes that brands have ingrained in our minds in everyday life was the most enjoyable part of the seminar.<\/p>\n
